Ideal for repair, refurb or overhaul the hardwood PVCu clad glazing bead provides an innovative solution to protecting exposed timber glazing beads which are vulnerable to damage from everyday traffic such as trolleys, which often result in the beads becoming split - leaving sharp, dangerous edges or completely missing from the vision panel aperture.
As the glazing bead forms part of the integrity of fire doors, Yeoman Shield carried out extensive R&D resulting in an effective method to protect the beads, which has undergone stringent fire testing to both EN and BS standards for use on either ½ hour or 1 hour doors without affecting or compromising the fire door.
